Ideology

The body of doctrine, myth, belief, etc., that guides an individual, social movement, institution, class, or large group.

Such a body of doctrine, myth, etc., with reference to some political and social plan, along with the devices for putting it into operation.

Socialism

A theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.

Capitalism

An economic system in which investment in and ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange of wealth is made and maintained chiefly by private individuals or corporations, esp. as contrasted to cooperatively or state-owned means of wealth.

Conservatism

The disposition to preserve or restore what is established and traditional and to limit change.

Liberalism

A political or social philosophy advocating the freedom of the individual, parliamentary systems of government, nonviolent modification of political, social, or economic institutions to assure unrestricted development in all spheres of human endeavor, and governmental guarantees of individual rights and civil liberties.

  • Propaganda campaigns to divide the united; by use of ideologies–religion, race, socio-economics, politics and social issues
  • War for special interests
  • The American dream deferrment, the American people suffer
  • Congress ignors America for political gain
  • The American people demand change; taking protests to hard copy, the internet and to the streets of America

 A More Perfect Union

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.  We want:

  • Congress and the people to find a meeting of the minds
  • Restoration of the American Dream
  • Establishment of  justice by prosecuting wrong doers regardless, to race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, marital status, status of public official, disability, age, sexual orientation or affectional preference and military status.
  • Active promotion of the general Welfare of the American people through programs and policies that directly benefit us.  Health care, corporate regulation, consumer protection, homeland employment opportunities, educational benefits and small business growth and entrepreneurship.
  • Insurance of domestic tranquility, by stopping the political campaigning that serves to divide the states, by use of  ideologies–religion, race, socio-economics, geographical location, politics (conservatism and liberalism) and through social issues (i.e. gay marriage, abortion, etc. ).

With decent respect to the opinions of all mankind… secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity… for the purpose of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness, for all.

Without haste, American government, we, the people, ask, that you conform to the original plan for America.

Open Call for American Citizens to Take Action Against Fox News Network, Mark Williams, Lou Dobbs and Rush Limbaugh

On September 17, 2009, Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, warned of possible violence if the rhetoric wasn’t toned down across the nation. 

House Minority Leader John Boehner, a conservative lawmaker, has spent the past few months trying to harness the anger of the GOP base.  “Boehner said he does believe, we are in the middle of a modern day political rebellion.  American people are saying enough is enough.  They are scared to death that the country that they grew up in, is not going to be, the country that their kids and grand kids get to grow up in.  Americans are rightly scared for their country.”

The Chairman of the National Republican Congressional  Committee, Rep. Pete Sessions of Texas, responded to Speaker Pelosi’s plea for responsible de-excalation by saying “speaker Pelosi is right that the people are upset, but it is her own words that continue to fuel voter frustration in America…Voters are justifiably frustrated with Washington”.

We all seem to know where the rhetoric is coming from.  Fox News Network www.foxnews.com, Glenn Beck, Lou Dobbs http://loudobbs.tv.cnn.com/, Mark Williams www.marktalk.com/blog, Hannity, Limbaugh www.rushlimbaugh.com and O’Reilly have motivated thousands to turn out for tea bag, birther and deather events.

We are asking you, if you believe, Fox News and the rest are major components in inciting our citizens, utilizing, their media outlet as a weapon, to derail peace.  Please, contact the Federal Communications Commission and lodge your complaints today.  Our goal is not to infringe on anybody’s freedom of speech rights. 

However, the question is, whether the words used by them,  are used in such circumstances, and are of such a nature, as to put, us, all, in clear or present danger.  That their words, will incite, substantive, evils against our citizens or president. 

Military families have already taken a stand (please read).  And, we urge other citizens, to do so too–by lodging 10 million (minimum of) complaints.

the Fox News Story

Yesterday, we released news of the Department of Defense restricting access to Fox News at military installations.   Our source, like most news reporting services will not be unveiled.  But, we will say this, in general:  an active duty, military member who has been stationed abroad. 

At every installation (we were told), particularly those overseas, this news outlet was always available.  However, now, it is considered, restricted material.   Periodically, the military does reviews and restricts material they feel is inappropriate for military personnel morale.  We are extremely happy Fox made the list.  Thank you, for your support and inquiries.  We were able to obtain a copy of the letter sent to the Department of Defense. 

Our military community is a close knit family, they value their privacy.  We ask that you do too.  We thank them for their service to this nation and for their, continous, commitment, to keeping peace which goes beyond fighting in wars.

As military families we are disturbed by your choice to advertise on the Fox News website, and, to air the Fox TV Network at military installations, worldwide.  The approach taken by this media outlet, with shows showcasing Glenn BeckSean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly; all supporting Rush Limbaugh’s views.  And, their choice of attack methods, in regards to our Commander and Chief, the 44th President of the United States, referencing race.

 

It started with the magic Negroe song, then email circulars, the most disturbing being, the one with the watermelon patch. Calling our first lady names, such as, angry black woman, and, only, God knows what other ugly names she has been called. We cringe when we think about it. In addition to, referring to the White House, as the Black House. The assaults, seem to continue on and on. Escalating to the point of, dropping all respect, and calling the President of the United States of America, a racist.  And, without shame, openly promoting the teabagger and birther movements; which are ongoing, long running, assault campaigns.

 

We would like to see the United States become more united, and, American people working together towards the betterment of all citizens. Continously exposing us to these divisive, racially motivated campaigns, only serve to divide the military community and our families, when we rely on each other, while, stationed overseas.

 

This line of assault simply must change, along with your sponsorship. 

With the racial rhetoric and the consistent assaults on our Commander and Chief, how long do you think, we, the military community, will continue to support each other, when we see the department of defense sponsoring shows and campaigns that promote hate?  Please, pull your advertising and support from these types of shows, websites and media outlets, therefore, stopping all patronage.

Breaking News!

While some may think ordinary citizens taking action, may not work, however, there is always an exception to every rule.

We slowly picked off Glenn Beck’s advertisers by writing them our feelings regarding his network and this commentator’s promoting of hate and divisiveness.  There was one sponsor, for some, who didn’t garner much attention.  We were so used to seeing their advertisings.

One of our supporters went to the Fox News website and noticed the Army ad and wrote the Department Of Defense.  We are proud to say, not only did they pull advertising, they also, blocked Fox News at military installations, as being, a restricted site.  One giant step for human-kind. 

We invite you to join in and help us, to continue, to fight those who want to take America in the wrong direction.  While this may be a small feat to some, but, in the least, our military members, worldwide, can continue to think of America at home, as being, the United States.

the future of the GOP, RNC and Michael Steele

Is Michael Steele the new face of the RNC, and the progression of the Republican Party, mainly, put there to attract minorities to the party, or is he the stereo-typical token?  Haven’t we seen characters such as this, through out history;  same make up just a different name?

What happened to Alan Keyes, and  J.C. Watts? 

Bigger question is what will happen to Michael Steele after the “party” is over (his reign)?

” I looked at the people who gave me the flack and said, “What’s the problem? Am I wrong? Only, thirty-six black folks in the room?  Out of 4,000 people?”

Why do you think the Republican Party lacks diversity right now?
“We have offered them nothing!”  Impression we’ve created is that we don’t give a damn about them or we just outright don’t like them. That’s does not help a political party. I think the way we talk about immigration, the way we talked about some of the issues that are important to African-Americans, does not attract.

The reality of it is… electing Barack does not necessarily change the underlying concerns and issues related to race. On one level it does, but I’m still a black man; when I walk in a room (Is he talking about those within his own political party or Americans in general?), people have attitudes about black folks. I can’t change that.  I have to deal with that reality regardless of RNC chairman title.

There are people in this country (Is he referring to Obama, Biden,  Pelosi, Clyburn, Reid and Hoyer, or, Wilson, Bachmann, Boehner, Price, Gohmert?) right now who would look at Barack Obama and still refer to him as “boy.”

Joe Wilson the Saga continues…

Despite the recent developments in congress with the formal admonishment;  South Carolinians still don’t get it.  Some of his constituents want to pin a badge of honor on him for his ill behavior during president Obama’s speech.

What can we do?  Continue to call South Carolina department of tourism and tell them we won’t be vacationing in Hilton Head, Murtle Beach or Charleston any time soon.  Citing Wilson’s outrageous behavior and lack of deceny as being the reason why.  Need the number?  Telephone 1 803 734-1700 or email medmonds@scprt.com.   After about 100,000 calls, they will get the message.  Hit’em in the Wallet!
